How to Get Your Ex Back
We've all been there at some point, right? Somewhere in between saying words that we didn't mean, allowing problems to fester, and ignoring our partner's needs our relationship fell off track. One person has decided to call it quits and end the relationship for good. Not so fast!
What happens if you want your ex back? What if after reflecting on the relationship and the good times you spent with your ex you realize that he/she could be the one?
Before you go writing love letters and cyber stalking your ex there are a few things you should know. A few tips and techniques to will
inspire your ex to want you back
and not repel them. This is important, because so many people make the mistake of pouring their hearts out in a way that is unattractive and actually turns their ex off.
There is a better way to approach and win your ex back. You'll be surprised how simple it is, and I'll share two tips that have worked for me in the past:
Take it Slow. By taking it slow you get to
a) evaluate if you really want this people back in your life Sometimes what we're really feeling immediately after a break up is simply a loss of control, and we think getting the relationship back is the answer. The break up happened for a reason, right? So, make sure you're not making a knee jerk decision, and that you really want this person back in your life.
b) give yourself a chance to calm down and get it together, so that when you do approach your ex you'll seem more attractive to them. I can't stress the importance of this. Even if your ex secretly wants you back you have to
play your cards right
or you'll risk losing them for good.
Let Go. I know this seems counter-intuitive, but it actually works! Have you ever heard the saying that you can hold more with an open palm than with a tight fist? The point here is that you have to be willing to let your ex go, so that they will want you back. If you're acting desperate and chasing after them too hard it will turn them off.
